The Body Control Pilates Method can work for everyone, regardless of fitness level! It is ideal for first time exercises wanting a low impact, controlled approach with long term results. It’s also perfect for athletes and anyone in between looking for flexibility, strength building and injury prevention in your other activities, whether that be racket sports, golf, running, cycling or any other sport. In fact that is why we started Pilates many years ago ourselves.

Pilates targets the deep postural muscles, building strength from the inside out, rebalancing the body and bringing it into correct alignment. It helps to reshape your body, which will become longer, leaner and more toned. It will also improve your posture, achieve the perfect balance between strength and flexibility and is ideal for reliving unwanted stress and tension.

Its consistent success rate in solving many health problems has brought it to the attention of osteopaths, chiropractors, physiotherapists and homeopathic doctors.

The 2018 National Fitness survey reflects the UK trend towards Pilates with 887,000 participants in group classes each week. Jackie is a Level 3 Body Control Pilates Teacher having trained at the Body Control Pilates centre in London, known as a centre of excellence for Pilates and is a BCPA (Body Control Pilates Association ) Member (Europe’s largest professional Pilates organisation).

We run various Pilates group classes in the Woking, Horsell, Mayford, Goldsworth Park and Guildford area.

We offer:

  • one-to one private tuition (which may be combined with Yoga or other movement if appropriate)
  • small Pilates groups (max 5 people) – we use the gym and a variety of small equipment, including resistance bands, balls and blocks.

Before attending a Pilates session we ask that you complete an Enrolment form for your own safety and to plan the best possible programme for you.

Pilates Mixed Ability Class Timetable 2019

  • Monday evening: 6.30pm  Sythwood School, Horsell
  • Monday evening: 7.30pm Sythwood School, Horsell
  • Tuesday morning: 9.30am Goldsworth Park, Woking
  • Tuesday morning: 10.45am Goldsworth Park, Woking
  • Wednesday evening: 7.45pm Mayford Village Hall (between Woking & Guildford)

Classes run every week but not on Bank Holiday Mondays.

Pilates / Yoga class costs

The cost structure is £99 for 10  classes  plus a free taster session (which can be taken before you sign up). The 10 classes to be used over an 11 week period, so if you’re away for a week you don’t lose out.

You need to commit to a particular timeslot but if you’re away for longer, you can transfer your preferred class to another time / day if there is room (there always will be initially!). If you wish to sign up for 2 classes per week there is a discount.

If you are a client and refer a friend who signs up for a 10 week card then you will get £20 off your 10 week card.
