Is Yoga for you?

Yoga is a practise for anyone of any age, background, body type or belief system. You don’t have to be flexible or able to stand on your head to try Yoga!

As long as you are breathing there’s some yoga you can do, and benefit greatly from. You will find yourself becoming more physically and mentally well, no matter your age or abilities, through yoga practices.

Yoga is a form of exercise using the body to connect with the mind and will help you become more balanced, improve flexibility and strength in all parts of your body, as well as calming the mind.

Yoga can target muscle groups that you won’t access in many other forms of exercise. You can be an incredibly fit runner or racket sports player but you’ll be working muscles that you don’t usually engage.

The 2018 National Fitness survey reflects the UK trend towards Yoga with 1.285 million participants in group classes each week. Jackie trained in India and gained her 200 hour Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga Qualification – (Yoga Alliance Professionals UK)

We offer:

  • one-to one private tuition (which may be combined with Pilates or other movement if appropriate)
  • Small and medium Group Sessions in the Woking & Guildford area – see class schedule
